Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
As a buyer, you will be responsible for providing functional support to the Supply Planning and Demand Planning team. They will also be responsible for all ancillary tasks related to the timely delivery, invoice reconciliation and receiving discrepancies.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Review and execute Purchase Requisitions driven by the overall supply plan for externally sourced products.
- Timely PO follow up to ensure on time delivery and/or accurate delivery dates.
- Coordinate with warehouse receiving teams to manage and mitigate warehouse receiving discrepancies.
- Manage invoice reconciliation discrepancies to ensure timely invoice payment.
- Inventory rebalancing to help reduce inbound Purchase Requirements and ultimately reduce Working Capital.
Qualifications
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
Requires a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferable in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business Administration.
- 3 Years of Supply Chain experience, preferably in a supply planning or purchasing environment.
- A general understanding of Working Capital and it’s impact on overall customer service level.
Compensation:
This is a salaried exempt role. The total compensation range for this role and market is between $62K to $82K annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
