Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The Head of Real Estate & Facilities will serve as Lennox’s real estate point of contact to focusing on alignment between business objectives, real estate solutions, and execution of those solutions from strategic vision. This role provides strategic real estate support, manages real estate portfolio and financial plans, and oversees project delivery for all projects, including build to suits, renovations, and expansions. The Sr. Manager of Real Estate will establish process and structures to drive a cohesive approach to portfolio management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the execution of the organization’s real estate strategy, including acquisitions, leases, dispositions, and portfolio optimization.
- Lead and manage high-value real estate transactions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and achieving favorable terms.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and portfolio optimization within the organization’s real estate holdings.
- Lead cross-functional teams on large-scale real estate projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic guidance on site selection, property development, and market entry to support organizational growth.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of real estate initiatives.
- Act as business liaison to understand business objectives and translate into real estate plans, actions, and solutions
- Partner with internal and outside real estate counsel on related issues and provide guidance where possible for deals
- Oversee lease administration processes, ensuring accurate data is provided in a timely fashion
- Serve as executive owner of relationship with outsourced facilities management vendor
- Embed structured leadership and processes for resolving facilities related issues across the portfolio
- Partner with operations leaders to proactively plan CapEx needs for portfolio
- Maintain accountability to real estate operations budget and conduct real estate related analyses
- Provide full project management leadership for large real estate related projects (e.g., $1m+)
- Serve as Lennox real estate leader for all build to suits, facilities expansions, and renovations
- Establish solid understanding of market trends in the industrial real estate field and keep up to date on current events related to industrial buildings and locations
- Support the development and management of portfolio plans for assigned business units. Set meeting agendas and successfully support fact-based decision process
- Conduct financial analyses, including ROI assessments, cost-benefit evaluations, and budget forecasting, to inform decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to real estate transactions and property management

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- Master’s Degree preferred in Business, Project Management, or related real estate field (ex. MCR)
- 10+ years of experience in general business management or real estate
- Developing proven team structure and processes that drive results
- Solid understanding of broader organization context and goals
- Able to delegate work effectively to team members; ensures tasks are completed without micromanaging
- Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations while preserving relationships
- Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and provide fact-based decision support
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proven experience interacting with executive-level customers
WHAT WE OFFER:
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus of 15% in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
