Position Overview
The HVAC Service Manager will oversee the operations of the HVAC service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery, efficient scheduling, and proper management of personnel. This role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction and optimizing team performance in both commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate daily operations of the HVAC service department
• Supervise, train, and hire service technicians and staff
• Develop and implement efficient scheduling practices to optimize service calls
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in HVAC practices
• Provide technical guidance and support to the service team
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
• Maintain customer relationships and address service-related inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align service offerings with customer needs
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in HVAC service management
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and plumbing
• Experience with building automation systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate operations
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
• Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields preferred
