Position Overview
The HVAC Service Manager will oversee the operations of the HVAC service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery, efficient scheduling, and proper management of personnel. This role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction and optimizing team performance in both commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate daily operations of the HVAC service department
Supervise, train, and hire service technicians and staff
Develop and implement efficient scheduling practices to optimize service calls
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in HVAC practices
Provide technical guidance and support to the service team
Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
Maintain customer relationships and address service-related inquiries or concerns
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align service offerings with customer needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Proven experience in HVAC service management
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and plumbing
Experience with building automation systems
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate operations
Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields preferred
