Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical HVAC apprentice to join our team. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with hvac equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as AC tune ups, maintenance, diagnostics, and installation.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, coils, and various hvac components
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
- Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Experience: (Experience preferred but none required, we can train)
- Proven experience as an hvac technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of hvac systems and components
- Familiarity with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience working with low voltage systems is a plus
- Carpentry skills for frame renovation projects are desirable but not required.
