• (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) projects, including test plan development, testing oversight, engineering document updates, sample builds, and cross-functional coordination for PIPO execution.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives by identifying value-engineering opportunities through idea generation events.
• Analyze and evaluate components, materials, and manufacturing processes to optimize cost and performance.
• Develop and document test procedures, compile design and test data, and prepare technical specifications.
• Provide recommendations for design modifications to meet production requirements for new or improved products and processes.
• Collaborate with technical support teams to conduct prototype builds and experimental runs for product or process validation.
• Work closely with drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians, and machine shop personnel to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the HVAC or appliance industry.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
• Experience with design techniques, blueprint creation, and precision technical planning.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Prior experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems is a plus.
