Job Description
MEP Firm located in Glendale, California, is looking for a senior mechanical engineer with HVAC & Plumbing design experience to join our team. The candidate for this position must have an architectural background, as well as constructability knowledge to identify issues that arise.
The candidate must perform a constructability review, RFI/RFC, submittal review, shop drawing review, and coordination by providing digital mark-ups. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work in a timely manner, are essential.
Specific Qualifications:
• Mechanical and Plumbing with minimum professional experience:
• Project Manager (Min. 6 years architectural engineering experience)
• Must have strong construction document knowledge.
• Experience working on large scale mixed-use, commercial retail, corporate/medical offices, and hospitality.
• Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines.
• QA/QC experience required.
• BIM software and workflow knowledge is a plus.
