Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential heating and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The technician will work in residential and light commercial settings, providing exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including compressors, pumps, and controls.
• Braze components as necessary for system repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
• Provide field service support, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate with office staff often, briefing on all jobs and required parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory replenishment needs for your truck.
Skills
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems. This includes Central Air, Mini Splits, Hot Air Furnaces, Heat Pumps, and Gas Boilers. Experience with Steam Boilers, Oil Boilers, and Oil Furnaces is a plus.
• Ability to drive a van or service vehicle responsibly and safely to job sites.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics for efficient troubleshooting.
• Ability to utilize service software a must, Service Titan experience not required but a plus.
• Previous experience in HVAC installation or repair is preferred.

Pay: $37.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
