Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Sacon HVAC Division in all new HVAC system installations as well as servicing and modifying existing systems for all projects.
This role requires a strong understanding of commercial construction plans, experience with HVAC hand tools, gauges, and specified tools, and the ability to work with and learn from the HVAC team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabrication and installation of all ductwork and unit systems
• Installation of HVAC controls
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems
• Modify existing HVAC systems
• Understand and execute design and installation of all HVAC systems
• Experience with HVAC hand tools, gauges, and specified tools to do the work
• Installation of exhaust fan systems
• Assist in performing system start ups
• Ability to work with and learn from the HVAC team
• Read, interpret, and understand commercial construction plans
• Responsible and accountable for the systems installed by the Sacon HVAC division
• Keeping a clean and safe work area on all projects
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Able to pass drug test and background check
• Willing to learn new trades and skills in all commercial construction
• Experience in commercial HVAC system installations
• Experience in HVAC service and trouble shooting
• Self-motivated and fast learner with attention to detail and doing a good job
• General knowledge of commercial construction
• Experience in installing and testing HVAC fuel/condensing and drain lines
• Prior EPA certification is preferred but not required
