Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Memphis Mechanical. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing multiple types of refrigeration systems.
This is a full-time, year-round position offering competitive compensation and benefits package. We estimate the salary range for this role to be between $55,000 - $75,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of prior experience in HVAC/R, good judgment for supply use, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration systems and mechanical/electrical components
• Performing minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment
• Inspecting systems and identifying specifications
• Collaborating with grocery store managers and directors
• Quoting equipment repairs and recommending replacement when necessary
• Maintaining proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
• 2+ years of HVAC/R experience
• Able to pass physical/drug screen, background investigation, and driving abstract checks
• Universal EPA License (bonus points)
• Electrical License (bonus points)
