HVAC Installation Technician
Description
We are seeking a skilled and licensed HVAC installation technician to join our company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, replace, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems.
• Use electrical testing equipment to inspect electrical circuits and components.
• Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks.
• Join pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source.
• Lay out and connect electrical wiring using hand tools according to the wiring diagram.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable standards, codes, policies, and safety procedures.
• Provide customers with instructions on how to use their new HVAC equipment properly.
• Record completed projects and parts used in a database.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification or associate's degree from an HVAC program at a technical school, plus 2+ years of experience as an HVAC installation technician.
• EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification is mandatory.
• Must possess required state and local HVAC technician licenses.
• Familiarity with basic electrical wiring and connections.
• Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics.
• Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills.
Estimated Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per year
