Job Title: Installation Technician

This role will be responsible for laying out, building, updating, uploading, testing, and servicing professional audio, video, and electronic equipment related to the Systems Integration Industry.
The Associate will complete installations in the most efficient and effective manner, meeting the highest quality standards set forth by the Company, while ensuring a professional and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review scope, design, assembly procedures, and problems with Project Manager and clarify design details and functional criteria of systems related to integration of professional, audio, video, and computer-controlled systems.
• Understand custom fabrication, wiring, and termination of necessary connectors, hardware, devices, and equipment racks.
• Adhere to cable management, rack layout, and signal separation per AVIXA standards.
• Update and record TCP/IP and RS-232 standards for equipment per design, scope of work, functionality statement, and program to reach desired product.
• Check the function of equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
• Assist with on-site installation and/or delivery of rack equipment, as needed.
• Achieve working knowledge of Company software and work within software system on a day-to-day basis.
• Proficiency in the use of computers including programs such as MS Office.
• Demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project.
Requirements:
• 4 years' experience in AV, security, or electrical installation experience.
• Language Skills: English.
Work Environment:
• Typical work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm however, other shifts including weekends and overtime are often required to meet deadlines and accommodate client needs.
