Reliable Heating & Air: A Career in HVAC
We're seeking an experienced HVAC System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers. Your primary duties will include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services, and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnostic Expertise: Successfully diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers, and compressors.
• Customer Service: Travel to job sites in the service area, work with dispatch to ensure schedules are maintained, and communicate delays properly to customers.
• Repair and Replacement: Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain replacement parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturers' recommendations.
• Client Relationships: Establish and foster client relationships through strong communication and customer service, explaining issues and options to customers when applicable.
• Documentation: Document all installed equipment upon arrival, including make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as needed.
Qualifications and Benefits:
• Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; minimum 3 years' experience as a residential HVAC Service Technician; EPA Certification required, NATE certification a plus.
• Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary range $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience; benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, sit, bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, reach (including overhead), climb ladders/stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
