HVAC Commissioning Project Manager Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the commissioning of HVAC systems in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, as well as excellent project management skills.
Responsibilities
• Lead the commissioning of HVAC systems in various construction projects
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure that all HVAC requirements are met
• Review and approve HVAC designs and plans
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the commissioning process
• Ensure that all HVAC systems meet the necessary safety and quality standards
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
Requirements
• A basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration equipment including AHU, FCU, VRF, VAV, Chillers, startup, and HVAC commissioning
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and their installation and commissioning
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all HVAC systems meet the necessary standards
• Good computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and project management software
• A valid driver's license, as some travel may be required
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year
