Johnson Controls is a leading provider of building solutions and technologies. We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an HVAC Sales Specialist.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling Johnson Controls' BE offerings to mechanical contractors, designers, and consulting engineers. They will promote our value proposition to the construction community by providing business and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
• Sell Johnson Controls' offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to all members of the construction community, including contractors, consultants, and designers, while reaching optimal profit levels.
• Focus on all opportunities to allow the contractor to achieve business objectives and run multiple ongoing opportunities.
• Build partnering relationships with the owner-construction community responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Controls' offerings.
• Act as the customer's advocate in interactions with Johnson Controls to ensure the customer acquires the best value from Johnson Controls' offerings.
• Set appropriate customer expectations on Johnson Controls' offerings and participate in final project inspections.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field required.
• At least one to three years of experience selling HVAC or building automation systems.
• Demonstrates a dedication to integrity and quality in business.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence the market at key levels.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
