We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team at a prominent aerospace client. As an HVAC Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, modifying, rebuilding, and repairing air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in an industrial or commercial establishment in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations.
This is a 12-month or longer position with a competitive hourly rate of $29.00 in El Segundo, CA 90245. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace and production equipment, as well as EPA Certification and electrical/mechanical aptitude.
The responsibilities of this role include:
• Performing periodic inspections to locate and determine the cause of equipment malfunctions and conducting maintenance programs to prevent failure.
• Installing, servicing, modifying, rebuilding, and repairing air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Servicing, modifying, and maintaining centralized HAC computer systems and making program corrections.
• Maintaining high-technology clean room environments.
Requirements for this position include US Citizenship, 10 years minimum experience, and completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. The ideal candidate will also possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, self-starter mentality, and ability to work in a team environment.
