The Role
This Project Sales Representative role specializes in commercial HVAC systems. The position focuses on selling large-scale HVAC equipment directly to building owners, managing a provided book of business with sales targets between $1 million and $2 million annually. Involving no cold calling, you will consult with business owners on building automation to enhance energy efficiency and maximize capital investments. Success is measured by deal closure and sustained business growth, focusing on existing customers.
Key Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in commercial HVAC.
• Proven track record in selling complex HVAC equipment (not residential or new construction).
• Strong relationship-building skills and significant deal-closing history.
• Experience in roles like Service Account Manager, Special Projects Consultant, or Industrial Sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with building automation systems and selling to commercial building managers, general managers, or business owners.
Benefits and Compensation
• Competitive base salary: $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience.
• Uncapped commission structure with on-target earnings of $200,000 in the first year.
