Job Title: HVAC Service Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven HVAC Service Manager to lead and develop our team of skilled technicians who specialize in maintaining and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily activities of service technicians, providing guidance and technical expertise as needed.
• Prioritize and resolve customer complaints and issues.
• Demonstrate ability to diagnose complex service problems.
• Create and manage service and maintenance schedules.
• E nsure that all service work is performed according to contract requirements.
• Recruit, train, and develop technicians at various levels by establishing regular training programs.
• Prepare quotations for recommended work and review/edit/service reports.
• Order and track materials for quoted jobs and scheduled maintenance.
• Conduct regular visits and meetings with key client accounts and new clients.
• Monitor project activities versus budget to ensure profitability.
• Maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC Service management, with projects up to $2 million in value.
• Technical proficiency in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles.
• Ability to read schematics, work plans, and other technical documents.
• Calm and confident demeanor with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Reliability, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• In-field technician experience or a Mechanical Engineering degree is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to respond to after-hours calls as needed.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
