About the Role

At J.R. Hobbs Company, we are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a vital role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in commercial HVAC systems and estimation software to drive business growth and success. You will work closely with project managers to develop budgets and schedules of values (SOV) for awarded projects, source and negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors, and collaborate with field teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to estimate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed, professional proposals in response to customer bid solicitations.
• Source and negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors while maintaining positive relationships.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and schedules of values (SOV) for awarded projects.
• Utilize estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite for accurate calculations and documentation.

Requirements
\
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• Clean driving record and current driver's license.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry.
• Proficiency with handheld devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets) and computers, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in a drug-free workplace.

Salary and Benefits
\
We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a base salary, you will be eligible for a performance-based bonus program and comprehensive benefits package.
