Residential Technician
About The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Technician to join our team at Carroll Institute - The Arch Residential Treatment Facility. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Up hold the Mission and Vision of Carroll Institute.
• Maintain confidentiality as defined by HIPAA regulations.
• Familiarize yourself with policies, procedures, fire regulations, and health and safety regulations.
• Supervise medication administration and document accurately.
• Assist with clerical duties (typing, filing, etc.).
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly environment by supervising residents' duties.
• Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety.
• Cultivate positive relationships with local referral sources and community agencies.
• Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues to establish a welcoming environment.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sobriety if in recovery.
Preferred Skills:
• Effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
• De-escalation techniques.
• Ability to lift 25lbs and be on feet for extended periods.
Compensation:
$18.00 - $23.49 per hour, dependent on experience.
