Commercial HVAC Service Manager
OVERVIEW
Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, our client is a leader in heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and Controls products, systems, parts, and services for commercial buildings. The Commercial HVAC Service Manager will be responsible for the performance and profitability of the Service Department across the state of NC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and support the Client Relationship Manager (Preventive Maintenance Contracts statewide) in the following areas.
• Service Agreement Base Growth.
• Service Agreement Renewals.
• Service Agreement Customer Satisfaction.
• Service Agreement Performance, financial and operational.
• Coach and support Manager with completing employee reviews.
• Manage and support the Service Operations Manager (Service Operations statewide) in the following areas.
• PM Completion (95%) monthly.
• T&M Billing verses Budget.
• T&M Billing Efficiency.
• Actual verses Budget Labor on PM’s
• Service scheduling efficiency
• Service performance, Financial and operational.
• Coach and support Manager with completing employee reviews.
• Manage and support the (Service Technical Team Leaders statewide) in each region in the following areas.
• Review and assist with maintaining the proper field service manpower needed across all regions.
• Assist Service Operations and TTL with assigning field service technicians to PM sites.
• Monitor the performance of all TTL and field service technicians to maintain a $250-$300k per person revenue average.
• Provide technical support when needed.
• Provide technical support for pricing large service repairs or projects.
• Encourage and support TTL in handling Customer issues swiftly and promptly.
• Coach and support all TTL with disciplinary actions with field technicians.
• Perform yearly reviews on all TTL across all regions.
• Coach and support all TTL in completing employee reviews.
• Manage and support the Company in each region in the following areas.
• Participate and schedule a TTL meeting each week.
• Participate in the Service Management Meeting held by GM using the EOS meeting format.
• Serve on the Commercial Management Team with the GM. This will lead to the EOS Commercial Management team seat.
• Work with GM and CFO for departmental budgeting.
• Work with Fleet & Safety Manager to assure safety compliance and proper rotation of company vehicles.
• Learn all processes and software pertaining to XOI. Must become proficient in building templates and using XOI to its fullest.
• Review and confirm all Bonus programs each quarter, field and managers.
• Visit large customers to assure customer satisfaction and measure improvements.
• Must work in a harmonious relationship with all departments and managers to encourage a positive atmosphere for growth and leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate’s degree or greater.
• 10+ years’ commercial HVAC experience.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems’ installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Thorough knowledge of all DDC control systems.
• Experience and ability to display leadership behavior and professionalism in the workplace and on job sites.
• Industry product knowledge; technical terminology.
• Possess valid driver’s license; acceptable driving record.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Attention to detail; perceptual speed; information ordering.
• Time management; organizational skills.
• Adaptability; dependability; flexibility; integrity.

COMPENSATION & LOCATION
This position will be based out of Greensboro, NC. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that will include a base salary, department-based performance bonus, company vehicle & gas card, and comprehensive benefits.
