We are seeking a highly skilled facilities supervisor and HVAC service technician lead to join Mercer Transportation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, commissioning, and maintaining wide range of HVAC systems ensuring optimal performance.
Job Overview
• This role involves conducting, maintaining, testing, installing, and repairing commercial air conditioning equipment including air conditioners, compressors, condensers, pumps, control systems, and chilled water systems.
• You will conduct, maintain, test, install, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components, applying knowledge of mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applying skills in restoring equipment to operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test, and make adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and hours worked.
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their concerns and providing expert advice on HVAC systems.
The estimated salary for this position is $40-$60 per hour based on experience. If you have at least 5 years of facilities maintenance experience, with a minimum of 6 months in a commercial or production setting, and hold an HVAC Journeyman license or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire, we encourage you to apply.
