System Technician - Estimated Salary $75,000 - $90,000
We are seeking a skilled System Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our low voltage electrical systems department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing installed systems.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems. Strong knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices is essential.
This role involves:
• Troubleshooting and repairing electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
• Utilizing technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks
• Providing recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently, including upselling opportunities
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills. NICET Level II certification is strongly preferred.
