HVAC/R Technician Responsibilities:
• Install/repair/replace various HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial businesses, kitchens, and light industrial settings
• Install and troubleshoot low voltage wiring for heat & hot water systems
• Check layout of existing heat devices and air conditioning units to plan work procedures.
• Obtain materials and supplies according to establish policies and procedures.
• Service machinery by cleaning, lubricating or replacing shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts.
• Complete diagnostic troubleshooting the HVAC System from wiring diagrams and schematics.
HVAC/R Technician Qualifications:
• High School diploma/GED
• 10+ years in HVAC/R maintenance & repairs experience
• Commercial experience preferred
• EPA Certification required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Troubleshoot, repair and installation experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
