About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Katy, TX. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks, including HVAC/Refrigeration system inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs. Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional HVAC/Refrigeration systems and detect malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC/Refrigeration assets on a daily/weekly/monthly/annual schedule as directed by Maintenance management
• Perform minor electrical maintenance, including replacement or repair of fixtures and appliances
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance, including replacement or repair of leaks and unclogging drains
• Reconfigure, install, position, and remount modular offices and space to accommodate user needs and maximize office space
• Prepare surfaces and paint various structures and equipment to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment
Requirements:
• High school education or equivalent preferred
• Valid drivers license required; CDL is preferred
• Two years working experience in facility maintenance
• Basic understanding of plumbing and carpentry is a plus
• Three years experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/Refrigeration systems
• Higher than average electrical knowledge base
• Ability to pass a federal background check
Estimated Salary Range:
$55,000 - $70,000 per year (based on location and experience)
