Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to join our team on the SunZia Power Plant project. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who value efficiency, reliability, and family. As a member of our team, you will earn an additional $10 per hour added to your given hourly wage.
Key Responsibilities
• Install sheet metal components, including ductwork, roofing, siding, and other metal products, according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
• Measure and mark sheet metal materials for cutting, using tools such as tape measures, rulers, and shears. Cut and shape sheet metal using various cutting equipment to meet project dimensions.
• Assemble and fabricate sheet metal components, including joining seams, welding, and soldering, to create a finished product that meets quality standards.
• Lay out and position sheet metal components based on project drawings and specifications, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to design requirements.
• Secure sheet metal components in place using appropriate fasteners, adhesives, welding, or soldering techniques. Ensure that all fastenings are done securely to withstand environmental conditions.
Requirements
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a HVAC Journeyman in the commercial sector.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude.
• Punctual and Dependable.
• OSHA 10 or 30 is a requirement to work on this job site.
Compensation and Benefits
$25 to $35 per hour - Pay rate determined in interview. Additional $10 per hour increase for working on the SunZia project.
