Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of various systems within our hotel.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on equipment with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Assure effective communication among shifts using approved protocols.
• Display expertise in multiple areas, including mechanical systems, electrical repairs, and plumbing services.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical background preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
• Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move around the hotel, and work at heights.
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
