Job Title: Utility Services Technician
About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Utility Services Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for providing technical and data support for the Utilities Service Department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring water and wastewater system quality and accuracy through field work, contractor/vendor communication, and direction.
• Inspecting and inputting documents, reports, CCTV data, and work orders into various databases and data collection systems.
• Serving as the technical and data support subject matter expert for tasks such as CCTV repair, SCADA monitoring, line locating, parts inventory, cross-connection devices, work order systems, and web-based GIS solutions.
• Providing knowledge of city infrastructure and ordinances to ensure compliance with all State Regulations.
• Assisting other departments by providing services and support.
Requirements:
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in utility services or a similar position.
• Associate or bachelor's degree education may substitute for work experience on a year-to-year basis.
• A valid Texas driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to employment.

Estimated Salary Range:
$43,201.60 - $53,996.80 per annum.
