About the Job
We are seeking an experienced HVAC System Installer to join our team at Purcell Mechanical Inc. As a key member, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, operating, and repairing HVAC systems in our commercial and industrial buildings.
Responsibilities
• Carry out routine maintenance on HVAC systems in both commercial and industrial settings.
• Determine the root cause of HVAC system malfunctions and communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with clients and lead teams to achieve project objectives.
• Respond promptly to calls from the lead team.
• Install and retrofit HVAC systems in both commercial and industrial settings.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs., bending, stretching, standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, ladders, reaching, twisting, sitting, and walking.
• Work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
• Incentives available for on-call hours.
• Prepare material lists and order supplies.
• Complete work orders and timesheets on a weekly basis.
• Will to work on lifts and scaffolding.
• Ensure a tidy and organized work environment.
• Coordinate maintenance and cleaning of company-provided vehicles.
• Project a professional image and attitude at all times.
• Upkeep high-quality work standards.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in HVAC system installation, retrofitting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Effective communication skills on a technical level.
• Valid Driver's License.
