About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at TRC Talent Solutions. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration systems, setting up display cases, and supporting lab initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot refrigeration system faults and test setup issues.
• Set up and maintain refrigerated display cases and associated test equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Support lab initiatives, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting/repair of test infrastructure, and 5S activities.
• Evaluate test data and recommend changes to achieve testing goals.
• Stay up-to-date on industry and regulatory requirements related to product testing.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all work safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
• Understanding of basic wiring practices, piping, brazing, and fabrication.
• Capable of obtaining EPA Universal certification to work with refrigerants.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
