Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is a renowned historical public attraction seeking a skilled Facilities Support Services Technician to join our team. This role will provide essential facilities support to various departments by accomplishing tasks such as mail delivery, furniture moving, trash pick-up, and more.

The Facilities Support Services Technician is dedicated to supporting team members and enhancing the experience of guests we serve.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide safe and exceptional transportation experiences aboard an 8-passenger golf cart, ensuring guests are seamlessly ushered to their next Magnolia Plantation & Gardens destination. • Complete maintenance and repair tasks as directed by Facilities and management; including but not limited to changing light fixtures and bulbs, utilizing a wet vacuum to remove water from flooded areas, etc. • Tend to outside trash and recycling receptacles on property, checking and emptying them a minimum of 3x a day (morning, mid-day, & afternoon). • Conduct a full sweep of the entire property and remove any trash and debris laying on the ground, parking lots, around trash bins, on tables, along the train road, etc., twice a day (morning/afternoon) or as needed. • Pressure wash various areas, including café seating, pavilion tram depot, gates, buildings, golf carts, etc. • Support special events and company meetings by setting up and breaking down tables and chairs, speakers, projection equipment, televisions, extension cords, generators, decorations, and supplying additional trash cans and returning the bins at event completion, etc. • Manage on-site parking by controlling traffic flow and directing parking during peak times or events. • Deliver mail, packages, and supplies to designated departments. • Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures. • Represent a team-player spirit when assigned other duties as required.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary starting at $17.00/hour, in line with industry standards, along with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, Sick Days, Paid Holidays, medical premiums coverage, life insurance, and retirement plan matching.
