Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues within HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Perform necessary repairs on refrigerate systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Drive company vehicles to various job sites as needed.
Experience
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles related to HVAC/R systems.
• Ability to plumb and perform basic plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving responsibilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
