Job Title: HVAC Technician Job Description

Candidates will be assigned to one of the buildings in a large manufacturing facility in Warren. MI.
They will be expected to perform service work and repairs on HVAC equipment, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and make necessary repairs
The position involves working on rooftops and within the facility, climbing ladders, and using lifts Pay Scale Year 1: $35.00 Year 2: $38.50 Year 3: $41.58 Responsibilities
Install, inspect, test, operate, and repair all refrigeration and related equipment for preserving food, making ice, cooling water, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation
Calibrate, repair, and maintain all pneumatic control systems and related equipment
Check, service, clean, and replace filters in all A/C air handling and heating units and document the same
Clean and maintain grills, ducts, and shaft ways in A/C, ventilating, and exhaust systems
Understand and demonstrate knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration codes and practices, and coordinate work between/with other trades
Complete preventative maintenance as scheduled and keep records
Respond to any emergency repair/maintenance situation as required
Maintain critical inventory needed to keep operations running; maintain and account for tools used
Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers Shift 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $73840.00 Union Benefits. Direct hire from day one and will get union benefits after 90 days. This is the UAW. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Bloomfield Hills,MI.
