Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance and service tasks on HVAC equipment as directed.
• Maintain and repair various types of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, procurement, supervisors, and managers to keep all stakeholders informed about work progress.
• Document and close out all work orders promptly.
• Engage in company training opportunities to stay updated on the latest industry technologies.
• Ensure that preventive maintenance on all building equipment is completed as scheduled.
• Strictly adhere to critical facility work rules and safety procedures.
• Follow all company procedures and safety regulations diligently.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving HVAC service issues.
• Journeyman certification is required.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and service is essential.
• EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.
• Familiarity with building controls is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer relations abilities.
• A demonstrated capacity for independent decision-making.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• A safety-oriented approach is essential.
• A proven ability to work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to sit, use their hands to handle or feel, reach with their arms, and communicate verbally. Physical activities include standing and walking. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level. Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and climb stairs and ladders for site access. Occasional exposure to heights may also be required during job site visits.
