Responsibilities of HVAC Maintenance Engineer:
You are well-versed in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and building mechanical systems, enabling you to efficiently address any maintenance challenges in our building. Your commitment to delivering exceptional results will maintain the high efficiency of Verizon's building systems.
• Duties encompass the running, servicing, and upkeep of a variety of heating and air conditioning plants and associated machinery such as air handlers and refrigeration equipment.
• Performing maintenance and repairs on motor controllers and their associated electrical components and control setups.
• The role includes fitting, fixing, and aligning different models of pneumatic and/or electric controls crucial for the performance of temperature and humidity control mechanisms.
• Conducting evaluations and executing repairs on equipment or systems as stipulated by company practices or regulations.
• Interpreting and comprehending the order of words, operation manuals, visual aids, architectural sketches, and technical diagrams of machinery.
• Climbing up ladders, performing duties at elevated positions, and carrying objects that usually weigh less than 100 pounds.
• Required to work outside regular hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other ad-hoc schedules as needed by the organization.
• The work schedule requires employees to be present from 7 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon, Monday to Friday, with a possibility of variations in hours.
Qualification of HVAC Maintenance Engineer:
You know HVAC and other building systems like the back of your hand, and are anxious to put your knowledge and skills to work for the V Team. You like to be busy and well-organized to stay on top of things. You take pride in a job well done because you know better matters
• Valid refrigeration license and ability to pass, obtain and maintain a current certificate of fitness for one or all of the following: fire standpipe, sprinkler, welding, oil burner and air compressor operation.
• Universal Technician Certification as designated by EPA regulations-40 CFR Part 82 Subpart H.
• Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Relevant vocational or technical training or 3 or more years of relevant work experience.
