JOB TITLE: Commercial & Industrial HVAC Project Manager

SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Commercial & Industrial HVAC Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems, project management, and installation practices. This role involves leading the installation team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This person will also be collaborating with the service team to help meet customer expectations after installation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and oversee Commercial and Industrial HVAC projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain multiple project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Daily reporting of time sheets and any necessary correspondence that relates back to the project.
• Weekly billing reviews to ensure projects are billed in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
• Responsible for communicating vehicle usage and maintenance to internal team members.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in project management.
• PMP certification.
• 6+ years of experience in Commercial and Industrial HVAC project management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heat pumps, cooling towers, chillers; air cooled and water cooled, understanding of hydronics, pump theory, reading blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Excellent communication, leadership skills and strong ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions consist primarily of an office environment and infrequently those typical for the field of HVAC which may include exposure to weather conditions and require a limited level of physical activity. Job may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
