Area to be covered: Large West Midlands & North Wales
Remuneration: £50,000 + £15,000 Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Building Services Water Management will involve:
• Field sales role selling manufactured range of commercial pumps into commercial building services projects such as schools, hospitals, high rise residential and public buildings
• Promoting; centrifugal pumps, pump systems & services, heating and air conditioning, water supply and pressurisation, irrigation, waste water, submisible pumps & motors, water technology, electronic pressure units and booster systems with inverters
• 25% of you time stimulating demand for products with M&E sub contractors, facilities managers, design engineers etc.
• 75% back selling through national (BSS, Wolseley, Smith Brother Stores etc.) and independent plumbing & heating merchants and specialist pump distributors (ensuring distributors and local stockists are fully informed in respect of new products etc.)
• Majority of your time will be spent generating new business, mainly through developing existing accounts
• Creating your own quotes, selection of products and pricing
• Circa 100 distribution account on patch
• On the road 2-3 days per week, rest of time working from home/ admin
• Taking over a territory currently performing below budget expectations with a turnover of circa £1.5m (other areas achieving £2m-£2.5m)
• Keeping a well organised CRM system
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Building Services Water Management with:
• Proven field sales experience within associated building services, HVAC or water management industries
• Must have sold into M&E contractors
• Open to various product backgrounds including; pumps, boilers, valves, ventilation, water heaters etc.
• Must be technically HVAC competent, specific pump knowledge is not essential
• Reliable, consistent and well organised
• Stable career history and looking for longevity
