Position: Roofing Sales Technician – Community-Focused Sales Professional
As a Roofing Sales Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our roofing services by combining your expertise in roofing solutions with your passion for serving the local community. You’ll utilize ServiceTitan CRM to track and manage your activities, ensuring every interaction is personal, professional, and tailored to meet the needs of our valued customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Community Outreach:
• Leverage ServiceTitan CRM to identify and connect with potential customers in the community who may benefit from high-quality roofing services.
• Actively engage in local networking, referrals, and community outreach, making connections through word-of-mouth, social media, local events, and partnerships with other businesses.
• Use ServiceTitan’s lead management tools to efficiently track and manage prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent communication that reflects our dedication to customer satisfaction.
Consultative Selling with a Community Focus:
• Take the time to truly understand the unique needs, concerns, and desires of each client, especially when it comes to roofing solutions that impact their home and livelihood.
• Build strong relationships by offering expert advice, sharing relevant roofing knowledge, and providing personalized recommendations.
• Use ServiceTitan CRM to access past interactions, history, and preferences to ensure each consultation is rooted in thoughtful, relevant solutions tailored to the customer’s needs.
Sales Presentations & Proposals with Integrity:
• Conduct presentations that not only showcase our roofing services but also demonstrate our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Use ServiceTitan CRM to pull customer history, allowing for more focused and informed sales pitches.
• Craft and present customized proposals, detailing project timelines, pricing, and solutions that reflect our core values of transparency and reliability.
Closing Sales & Community Building:
• Focus on closing sales by building trust, ensuring that each prospect feels confident in their decision to choose us for their roofing needs.
• Manage sales progress in ServiceTitan CRM, tracking opportunities through every stage of the sales funnel and ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction, ensuring each roofing project reflects the quality and care we promise to every customer.
Sales Performance Tracking & Reporting:
• Use ServiceTitan CRM’s powerful reporting tools to track your sales performance and customer engagement metrics, including conversion rates, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
• Regularly update and share reports with the sales team, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement. Use CRM insights to optimize your sales strategies and achieve continued growth.
• Work collaboratively with sales leadership to refine your approach, improve processes, and leverage community feedback to enhance overall sales performance.
• Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience as a roofing salesperson or technician, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in the trades industry.
• Deep knowledge of roofing services, including product offerings, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Strong experience with ServiceTitan CRM (or similar CRM platforms), enabling efficient lead management, sales tracking, and relationship building.
• A passion for working within the local community, with an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of homeowners and businesses in the area.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, consultative approach that builds trust and fosters long-term relationships.
• A goal-oriented, results-driven mindset, always aiming to exceed expectations and contribute to both personal and company growth.
• Analytical abilities to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions using CRM insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant software applications.
