Job Description
In this position, the Service Plumbing Technician will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of plumbing systems in residential buildings. Our company offers on-the-job training and yearly wage increases as your skills develop. Starting pay is determined upon skills and experience.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Complete plumbing, drain cleaning and other related in-home service calls
• Serve the customer by expertly servicing their entire plumbing system.
• Wear floor savers while in the customer's home and maintain a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service.
• Give the customer options for repairs and replacement on every call.
• Establish customer rapport to provide the right products and services.
• Educate and assist the customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win referrals and repeat business.
• Maintain your truck so that it is neat and clean on the inside and outside at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and a well inventoried truck.
• Always being safety conscious both on the job and while driving.
• Participate actively in all training exercises and morning meetings
• Train and mentor Apprentices
• Have a positive disposition and portray an attitude of willingness
Physical Demands:
• Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted
• Operate handheld power tools
• Wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
Working Environment:
• Work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for up to 8 hours
• The Technician may work in awkward environments and will have to carry all required equipment and supplies at all times.

Requirements
• 4+ years’ technical and trade experience
• Current plumbing license
• Understanding of the current regulations within the field
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Clean driving record and an ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
