What you can expect in this role:
• Install HVAC systems according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
• Assemble and install HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and thermostats.
• Inspect and test HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with team members and management to complete installations and projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, installation logs, and equipment inventory.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, answering questions, and explaining HVAC system operation and maintenance to clients.
What skills/experience you'll need to be considered for this role:
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC system installation.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
