Job Role: HVAC/Building Controls Service Team Leader
FICO is hiring an HVAC/Building Controls Service Team Leader for Central Montana. We're looking for candidates who are eager, confident, and self-motivated that want to combine leadership and technical skills with world-class customer service. As team leader you will oversee a team of employees and motivate them to do their job efficiently. You will delegate daily and weekly objectives, provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support to team members, communicate with the Director of Service to reach business goals effectively, and help train and motivate new hires.
Some of the day-to-day activities and responsibilities include:
• Internal and external customer communication
• Problem solving, organizing, and work delegation
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine service, repair, and preventative maintenance procedures
• Explain and provide detailed system capabilities and operational instructions to customers
• Ensure on-time arrival to daily customer appointments for the team
• Place a high value on quality of workmanship, attention to detail, and safe work practices for self and team
• Occasional availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday service response
• Travel as necessary that may require overnight stays (not typical)
Qualifications
• Current valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Submit to a criminal history check and obtain clearance from the state based on the state requirements
• Place a high value on quality of workmanship, attention to detail, and safe work practices for self and others
• Experience leading others or a desire to
• High sense of personal accountability
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, email, and remote communication
• Self-motivated
• Knowledge of HVAC Equipment, BMS Systems, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Strong ability to diagnose equipment and determine if repair and maintenance work is needed; ability to keep records of work done, etc.
• Troubleshooting skill with Schneider Electric BMS systems or equivalent systems
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Sitting, bending, and kneeling
• Work in confined spaces
• Ability to climb ladders and perform job duties at required heights
