The Air Conditioning Technician specializing in Preventive Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the
optimal functioning of air conditioning systems through regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance.
This role focuses on proactive measures to prevent breakdowns, enhance system efficiency, and prolong
equipment lifespan.
Salary: $25.00-$30.00/hour
Job Type: Full-time
Shift and schedule: On-call Mon-Fri 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

Requirements:
• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, specifically in preventive maintenance for air
conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and their functioning.
• Proficiency in diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections of air conditioning units to identify potential issues or inefficiencies.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, changing filters, and lubricating
parts.
• Test system performance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
• Document maintenance activities, including findings, repairs, and parts used.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and longevity.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working on AC units.
• Communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding maintenance schedules and
findings.
Education and Certifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
Working Conditions:
• On-site visits to various locations for preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
