RETROFIT APPRENTICE INSTALLER
The Retro Apprentice Installer is an entry level position that plays a vital role by assisting in the process of retrofitting and upgrading existing HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency, functionality, and overall performance. Their primary objective is to assess, plan, and execute retrofit projects to enhance the comfort and efficiency of residential and commercial spaces.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop effective solutions, and implement retrofit plans to improve system performance.
Adaptable: Have the ability to learn quickly and take directions from lead retro installers.
Attention to Detail: Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation, alignment, and calibration of HVAC equipment and components during retrofit projects.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders involved in retrofit projects, conveying technical information clearly and professionally.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with retrofit installations.
Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team, coordinating with other technicians, contractors, and project managers to achieve project objectives.
The Retro Apprentice Installer position is essential for improving the energy efficiency and performance of existing HVAC systems, contributing to customer satisfaction and environmental sustainability goals.
