We have an exciting opportunity for a Residential HVAC Service Manager in the Nashville area! The ideal candidate will focus on the installation and service of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical. be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department. This role is responsible for growing the residential division. Strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Monitor and manage service calls, work orders, and technician schedules.
• Ensure all service activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and within budget.
• Develop and manage the service department budget.
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Implement cost-control measures and strategies to achieve financial targets.
• Monitor job progress, provide technical support, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development for service technicians.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock of parts and equipment.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain service policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Prepare and present regular reports on service department performance.
• Address and rectify any quality or performance issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of five years of experience in residential installation and service, with at least two years in a managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC systems.
• Flat rate pricing knowledge.
• Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in using service management software and other relevant tools.
• Ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record pursuant to company policy
