Job Summary
The Vice President of Corporate Finance and Treasury is a key leadership role responsible for managing the company's banking relationships, liquidity, financial compliance reporting and cash flow forecasting. The role combines strategic financial planning with hands-on treasury operations, ensuring the company’s liquidity and financial stability.


Responsibilities

• Treasury & Liquidity Management:
Oversee daily cash management, ensuring proper liquidity across business units and optimizing cash flow to meet business needs.
Manage treasury funds transfer processes (ACH/Wires), ensuring timely debt/interest payments.
Prepare, monitor, and reconcile rolling cash forecasts, identifying and addressing variances.
Ensure compliance with all credit agreements and manage debt schedules.
Collaborate with departments to align on cash flow needs, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.

 

• Banking Relationships & Lender Communications:
Serve as the central point of contact for all banking and lending matters, maintaining strong relationships with banks, financial institutions and rating agencies.
Prepare lender presentations, certifications, and documentation, ensuring the company meets its financing obligations.
Manage compliance with banking covenants and financial agreements, including preparation of debt covenant compliance forecasts.
Maintain up-to-date documentation on bank account details, signatories, and agreements.

 

• Financial Planning & Reporting:
Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts, focusing on cash flow requirements, ensuring liquidity, and minimizing interest expenses.
Develop detailed variance analysis and reports for management and the board of directors.
Monitor cash-flow performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

 

• Compliance & Risk Management:
Maintain internal controls for financial reporting and cash management, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with all lender reporting requirements and other regulatory obligations.

 

• Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and develop the finance and treasury teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Manage day-to-day treasury activities, including banking systems administration and reporting (e.g., BoA CashPro).
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, encouraging professional growth and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

• Experience:
12-15+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance and treasury, with a strong background in managing banking relationships, handling lender presentations, and overseeing liquidity management.
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and reporting.
Strong background in financial compliance, risk management, and understanding of credit agreements and bank covenants.

 

• Skills & Expertise:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to senior leadership, lenders, and stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage complex financial models, variance analysis, and cash flow projections.
Expertise in treasury management systems, financial software tools (e.g., Oracle CPQ, Salesforce), and MS Excel.
Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

 

• Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is a plus.
