The Commercial HVAC Installer builds long-term business value by overseeing and coordinating the onsite installation of HVAC systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - TACTICAL
• Oversee commercial HVAC Projects, interactions with customers, and quality of installations.
• Measure, layout, order, and install ductwork.
• Installation of HVAC equipment, refrigeration, condensate, & flue piping, and associated components correctly.
• Work with blueprints, specifications, other trades, and inspectors to ensure conformity to specifications, code, and work schedules.
• Coordinate material needs with operations.
• Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites.
• Assist in soliciting maintenance contracts, equipment replacements, and other quoted service work from install clients.
• Ensure customer complaints or concerns are resolved in a timely manner through consistent follow-up with team members related to the issue.
• Provide as-needed training in the following areas: internal systems, safety, customer satisfaction, and technical knowledge to new team members.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be drug-free and able to pass entrance and random drug screenings.
• Demonstrate a willingness to invest in tools used in the Service of HVAC equipment
• Demonstrate a willingness to invest time in-service training seminars and classes
• Ability to follow Safety Guidelines:
• Safely work with heights and in tight working conditions from extension and step ladders
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Ability to use safe lifting procedures
• Ability to use the full range of body motion: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to safely install/repair gas lines, fittings.
• Ability to safely and responsibly install/repair refrigerant lines.
• Meet all qualifications and have all tools required for Service Technicians Tier 1, including the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of daily, weekly, monthly skills noted above
• Understand and communicate the benefits of preventative maintenance
• Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and have the ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and coworkers
• Demonstrate a willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
• Operate scissors and genie lifts in a safe manner
Typical shift:
• 7AM - 4PM
