Responsible for designing, developing, and testing heat exchangers for Hydronic HVAC systems to optimize performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Requires a strong foundation in heat transfer principles, fluid dynamics, and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.

• Design and develop terminal heat exchangers for HVAC systems with a focus on heat transfer efficiency and performance.
• Conduct thermal analysis, simulations, testing, and validation
• Collaborate to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet production requirements.
• Identify design improvements and implement enhancements to existing systems and processes.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
• Maintain performance data and provide expert support to sales and application engineering teams.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends and technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HVAC engineering, with a focus on heat transfer.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Heat transfer principal knowledge
• HVAC design software and simulation tools; SolidWorks is a plus.
• ETL/UL experience or AHRI certification standards is a plus.

Salary $75,000 to $100,000
