HVAC / Mechanical Project Manager

Position Overview

The HVAC / Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing HVAC and mechanical projects in the Industrial or Data Center market sector from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and compliance standards, while also focusing on energy efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC and mechanical projects from planning through execution.
• Create project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for project design and modifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders regarding project updates and issues.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Commercial, Industrial, and or Data Center Projects.
• Experienced in TI, Ground Up, Design Build jobs.
• Proven experience in project management within the HVAC or mechanical sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management for construction projects.
• Excellent scheduling skills and experience with project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
