Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection, for new construction and renovation projects.
· Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs while considering aesthetic, functional, and spatial requirements.
· Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, duct and pipe sizing, and energy modeling to optimize system performance.
· Perform simulations, and analyses to ensure the efficiency, sustainability, and compliance of mechanical systems with relevant codes and standards.
· Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for mechanical systems, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
· Strong understanding of fundamental principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer as they apply to HVAC systems.
· Advanced user in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC design software (e.g., IESVE, Trane Trace) is preferred.
· At least 4-8 years of Mechanical Engineering experience with HVAC Design.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
