Job Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled Plumbing/HVAC Manager & Estimator to lead mechanical construction projects from bidding to completion. This role is a blend of office and field responsibilities, including project estimating, site supervision, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate has a strong background in plumbing and HVAC systems, project management experience, and a keen eye for estimating and bidding on new work.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC and plumbing projects from bidding and estimation to completion.
• Review and interpret contracts, construction plans, and specifications.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, material procurement, and workforce allocation.
• Track and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project budgets.
• Develop accurate project estimates, take-offs, and pricing.
• Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to source materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project deadlines.
• Work closely with foremen, engineers, and site teams to coordinate all aspects of mechanical construction.
• Prepare project cost projections, billing requirements, and progress reports.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field personnel.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and estimating within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of mechanical construction processes, plumbing installation, and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, construction scheduling software (BlueBeam), and estimating tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and analyze project scopes.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Valid Wyoming driver's license with a clean driving record.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in design-build projects and commercial HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with foundation accounting software or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
• Requires lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb throughout the shift.
• Work may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, and odors.
• Ability to handle stress and work under deadlines.
