Job Overview
We're looking for a highly skilled Plumbing/HVAC Manager & Estimator to lead mechanical construction projects from bidding to completion. This role is a blend of office and field responsibilities, including project estimating, site supervision, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate has a strong background in plumbing and HVAC systems, project management experience, and a keen eye for estimating and bidding on new work.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee HVAC and plumbing projects from bidding and estimation to completion.
Review and interpret contracts, construction plans, and specifications.
Prepare and manage project schedules, material procurement, and workforce allocation.
Track and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project budgets.
Develop accurate project estimates, take-offs, and pricing.
Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to source materials and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project deadlines.
Work closely with foremen, engineers, and site teams to coordinate all aspects of mechanical construction.
Prepare project cost projections, billing requirements, and progress reports.
Provide leadership and mentorship to field personnel.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and estimating within the construction industry.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of mechanical construction processes, plumbing installation, and HVAC systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, construction scheduling software (BlueBeam), and estimating tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and analyze project scopes.
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Valid Wyoming driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in design-build projects and commercial HVAC systems.
Familiarity with foundation accounting software or similar project management tools.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance regulations.
Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
Requires lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb throughout the shift.
Work may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, and odors.
Ability to handle stress and work under deadlines.
